Probably an overreaction from the instructor and a very poor taste tantrum from the child. Fault to parents for not raising their child properly. Fault to teacher for not figuring out a more effective solution. |

I noticed in the article were it said this all happened in minutes. So this is one fast acting little girl and for once the cops were fast acting 
I think the girl should have been punished but i think being arrested is a bit much, although i am not really sure how to disipline a child like that, and i think that is part of the problem |

if woodles misbehaves then she will get smacked-i dont care what people say-it didnt do me no harm-made me less of a spoilt brat when id had a smack and i learnt to behave like a lady thanks to my grandmothers firm hands(god they hurt-big hands)admittedly i dont behave like one now but she installed manners and social skills in me that i thank her for most days of my adult life.some children you can reason with and talk to but some you need that short sharp pain to make them listen and see sense-thats my view anyways |

im with chixie on the smacking point, nothing over the top, just a small slap on the bum cheeks to let her associate misbehaving with something she doesnt like.
but the problem here is, its hard to punish a child these days, if a child falls over and gets bruised, or they havea fight and get bruised or something, its immediatly blamed on the parent and 9 times out of 10 the parent is accused of abuse!! anthen theyre child is taken away from them, what would you do? |
