wow thats awesome shino... my mom would kick my ass if i did something like that for her (she would secretly love it though) one christmas she gave me some money to go buy myself something for chirstmas.. so i spent most of it on this awesome oil incense burner for her... man she got so mad at me (but she loved the burner n she still uses it everyday lol) |

Oh my mom is the same way. I totally expect her to get pissed off and say "YOU CAN'T SPEND THIS MUCH MONEY ON ME" then I just say something like "Get over it" and she will be happy.

Yesterday I went to the Mitsu dealer to talk to the sales guys about pricing the car.
They had 3 guys working with me, including the sales manager.
Here's what we came up with.
MSRP:
Lancer ES Base - $14,300
Automatic Trans - $900
Convenience Pak. - $800
Destination Charge - $550
Total - $16,550
My price -
$13,500!
w00t!
That is about what I was expecting.
Not only that, but they are going to give me $1000 for my mom's old Empty '94 Corolla. And when I say empty... I mean crank windows manual tranny empty.
The Lancer comes with Power everything, a CD player, Keyless entry, cruise and all that good stuff.
*dances*
So Saturday I go to seal the deal. They will keep the car on the lot for a week and I will pick it up on Sunday July 3rd. Perfect. I even get a big red bow! They also said they would detail my car while we are doing paperwork.
I also got to drool over the new Eclipse. The sales guy said he had a new Infinity G35 that he just bought a month ago, and he is sorry he bought it.

So when your mom asks you that again, tell her b/c you aren't 29, out of college and 6 years into your career. |
