This is a male perspective - thus skewed horribly and probably not in touch with reality.
But I think many of those women identified with the prospect of the unknown - just having someone who you're not familiar with but can satisfy sexual desires. Women who have the stuff to do that are enviable, in a strange sort of way. I don't think it's necessarily boredom with their current partner - it could be, but I don't think that's true for the majority - but the excitement of the unknown.
I could be wrong. (Probably am.) But that's what it seems like to me. |
