They should call it the "We are tired of paying postage on a program that people use to expand their collection of dvds via burning"
Besides.. Its way cheaper on both ends if they do this. You dont have to rip the disk. They dont have to actually own the disk anymore.. and no postage for them. They slap a $12.99 monthly fee on it and work the bandwith it would be like a Napster for just Video.
So.... when is our media center box going to be up and running  |

Well the movies aren't downloaded to a PC. The are watched on a box that netflix would provide. So I doubt it would be any cheaper, I might even be more expensive(for the customer atleast). |

Na. They will find a way to hack it.
But then again I think you are renting the box...
oooo what would be tricky.
I guess eventually someone will sell hack boxes.
I think jail time would ensue for Andy so I am staying away from that idea. |
