The Quick and the Dead wasn't John Wayne either, it had Sharon Stone, Gene Hackman, and, this one surprised me, Russell Crowe, in it. I was just listing other great westerns.

Umm, it's hard for to explain it, it's been awhile since I've seen it, so here is the yahoo description:
Mrs. Evie Teale is struggling to stay alive while raising her two children alone on a remote homestead. Conn Conagher is a honest, hardworking cowboy. Their lives are intertwined as they fight the elements, indians, outlaws, and loneliness.
It sounds really corny, more like a romance novel, I know, but I have always loved Sam Elliott. If you remember he is the actor who played Virgil Earp in Tombstone^_^ Also, he is gonna play Caretaker in Ghost Rider. |
