I played AO for a few months and I can say it was pretty cool mainly due to the cyber punk type of atmosphere. Oh and it is not turn based although combat can be a little slow at times, I guess it just depends on you choice of class.
But if you are looking for something different from your usual online RPG check it out  |

Whereas Agents tend to kick less booty, hehehe... Yeah, I played Anarchy Online with Rab for most of the same timeframe, but eventually had to give it up because my money had to be spent on other things <^^> |

Ack yeah, I forgot, that's freakin expencive for 30 days ... I might reconsider ... god that would make a good offline game, why can't we have cool offline RPG PC games like that?? Why!?!? STUPID GAME MAKERS!!!! AARGH

For the pat days I've been playing the 7 day trial ... I've tried a MA, I leveled it to lv11, then I started again with an adventurer till lv18 and I think I'll go with that class if I ever get to play again. I'm waiting for Shadowlads to come out, then I'll try the game again, and I think I'll stick with an Adventurer and make AO my main RPG for the years to come. This game is so addictive it's scary .. that's why I canceled my account before they start charging me ... 56 US$ for 6 months is still to expencive for me to afford playing this game ... I must wait more, maybe it'll drop when Shadowlands will come out. |
