Believe it
Basically they made a newtech NES compatible with both NES cartridges and Famicon controllers and games. They've also got -wireless- NES controllers. It comes in pretty pretty packing <3. If you've got some old cartridges lyin around, it might be worth considering. Just something about that raw cartridge feel that beats out emulation anyday. |

I love and would be on it like white on rice with the exception that it doesn't 100% compatibility. |

I think there are only a couple of games that have issues.. Castlevania III for one, but that is a biggie. I still want one. Loose NES carts are fairly cheap and common. |

That's pretty damn cool. I scanned the article and didn't notice a price. Anyone know how much this costs? |

I really like it, but I'm skeptical of shelling out money for it and for hunting down and buying back all of the NES games that I've lost, misplaced, or given away over the years, when the Revolution is supposedly going to be able to download classic titles. I kind of want to wait and see how well that works before putting faith in this new system (although granted, it IS really cool). |

I remember when in my dorm when one of the guys bought a old system at a pawn shop. Let's just say we hooked it up to the tv in the lounge and surprisingly several people missed about a week of classes. |

Oh yea I'm gonna be totally over the Revolution downloads...
BUT this is still pretty cool that people created something like this.
Personally I won't buy one but for those die hard collectors out there it's probably worth the investment. |

The Revolution downloads will suffice for a lot of the mainstream titles, especially the Nintendo ones. There will likely be some oldies that just won't make it to that format though, and that's why one would want one of these. Lots of the old NES titles were the intellectual properties of companies that no longer exist.
It's one of those things I'd like to have, but I just can't shell out the cash right now when I have so many other things on my list. |

Article says 59.99 in the end part where it has the numerical rankings. |
