As you all have known me to taslk about in the past, I have huge stress and rage issues. And jst a few days ago i snapped once again putting my fist through a glass window. ... yes not very proud of that. >.> But lately I've been trying to send these issues in to domatation, (new kei word everybody Dormatation. ) sate of being dorment in other words, or submission. And alot of it has to do with relationship issues i've had, not being able to have one, being to lonely, not saying things to people I could have done along time ago but didn't because I was too shy. Or didn't think it would phase them. Don't worry my hand is fine, i spent 4 hours in the Er day before xmas eve getting stiches. But my moms got me a martial arts set now complete with hands wraps a punching bag and other stuff. I've also come to the conclusion I have a demented form that is usually speaking when i get inraged. I just thought i'd let you guys know my status since i knew that you'd care, i thought you'd be wondering.

I think the first step is figure out what it is exactly that's driving you to snap. After you figure that out you want to figure out a way to minimize it or lower whatever it is that's driving you mad. It's understandable to feel lonely or regret things you wish you should have done in the past. (Believe Me. I've had more than my share.) But the key is to move on. Yes, maybe you messed something up that could have been. But you'll never move forward unless you stop thinking about what could have been.

For now, That punching bag should help a lot with stress.
I used to take Shorinji Ryu and I had my own set of hand guards and I'd take out my frustration on the bags. Exercise is a great way to relieve stress. But all it can do is relieve it, not exorcise it. That's up to you to remove the monkey off your back.

As far as that demented side, you don't have to listen to it.
You listen to that little voice that tells you what's right not the voice of desire or the voice that wants payback or something petty like that. Be Beyond your worry. Sounds wierd I know but if you can get to that level, you can shrug off most things that cause you stress. Anywho I'm rooting for ya man, You got alot of potential...don't hurt yourself on the road to awesome.

heh, thanks wolfy, I am workin on exorcising them as we speak i know what they are, I've got to talk to some more people make up for lost time, and risk some friendships along the way. It's going to be tough, but I got to do it. I'm starting Tai chi soon and doing alot of training I figure if i use that energy from my anger in my training i can actually make use of it in a good benifiting way.

hey, at least you dont go psychopathic...thats a bad thing...you just vent in a very explosive way.

Anywho senor, the best i can say is that if you are in need of management of your stress and rage, feel free to talk to me. Many people can tell you that i'm a pretty level headed and focused guy, and that my control over the stress in my life is phenomenal, due to the amount that does exist. If you want help dealing with stress, or if you just need someone to vent with, give me a bling on the AIM thing, and i'll see what i can do.

just remember that its just a matter of saying yes or no to the rage, and the will power that you have.

that is all

The punching bag is a wonderful tool for relief. Any physical activyty is excellent for release, but I may also suggest something. When you finsh working out, take a long shower and then sit down for a minute at a project whether ts a story, a drawing, a song etc. etc. Use the energy to create something, or do something constructive. Its a great way to center yourself after working through the initial outburst of anger.
