I have a friend who is normally pretty up-to-date on anime and she just told me that David Bowie is backing some new anime and is doing the VO of the main charecter and lots of songs. Have any of you heard about this? |

I think it was a rumor started after Yoshitaka Amano illustrated a story by Neil Gaiman, and in one of the illustrations the character featured was modeled after David Bowie.

There is no word on whether or not this will become an anime. In any case, David Bowie is in no way involved, other than his face being on one of the characters.
