I think I am going to get a tattoo. I've wanted one for a couple of years but I never figured out what I wanted. I don’t really want anything that has to be explained….
Then I saw this one on my wrist:
It was simple, easy, required no explanation, and matched my twisted sense of humor.
But alas I’ve been told that it’s in very poor taste, which I agree with that is why I didn’t go and get it already.
So with the help of my friend Garret I started gathering some ideas here is what we’ve come up with.
Not sure where this one would go:

I've known Garret quite a while and he knows this one fits me very well.
What do yall think? Why other suggestions? |

This is my rule for tattoos. Get a picture of the tattoo you want, put today’s date on it and sick it to you refrigerator. Now wait two years! If you still want the same image after two years get the tattoo. Every time you change the image you have to reset your date.
This is for your first tattoo, once you have one you may add at will but you should still pace yourself. Two years might be a little long for some people but it works great on kids! Modifiers to the rule would be:
The older you are the less time you need to think about it.
The bigger the tattoo you longer you should wait.
Location! location! location!
No I don’t think that younger people can’t make decisions it’s just that my interests have changed so much over that last 20 years. If I had the tattoo I wanted at 17 I would be so pissed now. A small tat that no one will see is fine and it can be fun to have a “dirty little secret”. |

 Personally, I find that first one quite funny. But I have a sick and twisted sense of humor too. I like the second one, but I don't know where you'd put it. Maybe on your arm? |

Yeah. I've often thought about a tatoo, but then when I think about getting old and looking like some original recipe kentucky fried chicken with saggins here and there. I don't know. I like the artistic idea, but I would want it to stay true in the later years. Unfortuanly for most these tend to stretch and become, well, distorted. |

That's one of my big grumbles with getting one...where to put it! I both want one that you can't openly see adn one that I can easy see...like without a mirror, or killing myself to get to a certain angle to see it.
Although, the concept of one in White ink has its appeal. They are pretty stealthy until you get near a blacklight. 
But I perhaps should never get started with trying to pic a design...my PO was hard enough. |

Ok, same as above, but bigger pic.
Deciding on a tattoo certainly isn't easy. This is the third time I've been inked, and I looked for so long. I new I wanted a woman, but I just couldn't find the perfect one. I originally wanted an Alura Une, like in Castlevania. I saw this gal almost right when I walked into the studio. It just struck me as being perfect. It goes right along with my patriotism.
So, if you really want one, start looking!
