I think that's a wonderful thing you are all doing!! I always walk at the AIDS walk in NYC, but unfortunately this year I will be unable too because it's during my graduation weekend. However, I'm going to see where and when the American Cancer society walk is. I love doing those things, and raising money and awareness is very important!

I'd like to do the relay with you, but I'm not sure if I can. I'll definitely donate as soon as I can.

My dad had cancer when I was little. He beat it and has been in remission for 15 years. However, several dear friends of my family are fighting breast cancer, and for their sakes I hope a cure is found.

But unfortunately, I go to a different Relay for Life. :[ But it's the organization itself that counts, so wootness. ^^

Yay for loosing like hell. Oh well I got cards and donated more moneys so it's all good and it was nice seeing everyone again.

For those of you who don't know my grandmother died of cancer last fall, it spread all over her entire body and there was nothing they could do but ease her pain. Also besides that I've had one aunt die from bone marrow cancer (incredibly painful) and another die from lung cancer.

I wish I could be at the event with you guys. I'll be donating to the team in a minute. I lost the most important person in my life to cancer 8 years ago and not a day goes by that I don't think about her and the pain she suffered though. The entire time she was sick she was more worried about us kids then she was about the fact that she was dying.

Next year we can plan for a bigger and better Team PO.

Well, I guess if BA can share so can I. My ex-wife's aunt Sherry passed away from breast cancer in February, just a few weeks before she was supposed to come down from New York and meet our son for the first time. I didn't really *know* her, but somehow we just "clicked". I remember spending more time talking with her at my rehearsal dinner than with my best man. Even my mother, who only met Sherry once, was devastated. But up until the end, she was a survivor. Next year I'll do...well, whatever I can and as much as I can. All I can donate right now is well wishes, unfortunately.
