So go ahead...Deny your body what it needs. ^_^ |
I really don't need that extra ounce of pulp for fiber. In order to be a healthy veg, I have to monitor and balance my meals every day. As part of that, the majority of what I eat are grains, rice, and pastas (which the food pyramid recommends anyway). I also avoid eaiting the "white" versions of the aforementioned, because they contain less nutrients. And I take a multivitamin.
So I'm good on fiber =D

I think Superfood/Odwalla is more prevalent on the west coast, while Green Goodness (and the brand that makes it) is on the East. I think this because I've only ever seen Green Goodness over there, and I've only seen Superfood over here. |

While I haven't really seen Superfood before, I know that we do have Odwalla on the east coast, as I have bought their products on several occasions. I looked up Green Goodness, and it's apparently made by a company called Bolthouse Farms. I don't think I've ever seen their products here, but I'm not a regular at the health food stores, so I don't know. The name, for some reason, is ringing a bell though. I know we also sell stuff by the company Fresh Samantha here on the east coast, which I believe is a comparable company, at least to Odwalla anyway. |

Hmm....I've never heard of Fresh Samantha. ! Next time I travel, I'm going to note the health food drinks and see what's what ! This is fascinating.
Oh. One thing though. Was Fresh Samantha invented by travelling hippies? Because that's the story of Odwalla, according to their bottles. |
