Buda's Truck is Gone *cry*

Well Wednesday, (the day before my high school graduation mind you) i was involved in a wreck. I was traveling in the left lane, and she was infront of me in the right when she decided she needed to turn around. well, she tried to U Turn ACCROSS MY LANE. I didnt rilise what she was doing until she got her front left wheel in my lane and i slammed my breakes into the ground. I couldent slow down fast enough and we collided. Luckly, I hit the brakes, and im preaty sure she gassed it, so instead of slamming into her door, which probably would have killed her ( and probably would have died just from the fact that i killed a girl in my class...), I slammed into her left rear wheel (incidently thats where her gas cap was, which fourtunatly i didnt rilise it was there during the duration of the wreck, or i probably would have pissed myself. I waset realy scared i just thought, its gonna be close its gonna be close, shit... BAM! and thats when the air bag hit me in the chin, not a plesant experiance and i dont recomend it. (i tiled my head back right before i hit, so when the airbag deployed, it hit just my chin). The realy scary part, when i thought i was going to die, was when smoke came pouring out from under my hood. i thought the car was going to explode and i was going to die. but fourtunatly it was just the radiator had thrown up some colant on the engine and it evaporated, but i didnt know that at the time.

The most fortunate thing is that me and mary were both unhurt, i think i may have spraind my ancle, but meh i have had worse, and i realy dont have any animosity toward mary, it was just a stupid mistake and we all make them. The insurance company dicided my car was totaled and is going to pay me $5050 witch is almost $2000 more than i paid, but that just tells you how good a deal i got on my truck...
Like i said though, neather of us are hurt witch is the important thing.
but that truck reperesented a year of my life i spent in a crappy job working to earn enough to buy it *moment of silence*

And now the hunt for a new car begins....

Edit: forgot to mention she was driving a mercedese SUV

Awww I'm sorry to hear about your truck. But I am glad to hear that everyone involved wasn't hurt. It sucks when the thing you really worked for gets totaled or hit. I remember the first time my car got hit, it was a minor accident and I was parked, but still. I was so upset and I felt like my new car was ruined. It was fixed and is now good as new, but still. It hurts.

Good luck hunting for a new car. It sucks. Almost as painful as looking for a job...hahaha.

Thank goodness nobody was hurt. Cars get manufactured every day - people are special and unique and priceless. Still, that was a little stupid of the other driver to just wander out into your lane - if you're going to do something like that, do it where you're sure you won't hit anyone.

I'm glad neither of you were hurt, but I'm sorry for your truck. >_<;; Good Luck finding a new car though. ^__^
