no offense to those dutch...but that just seems like a waste of time and space.

And yes, it does remind me of han in carbonite.

Well I could see it saving a lot of time if you were moving, also saving on space for storage among other things, the applications and potential seem cool to me

I dunno, you'd have to install the base in every house, that's bound to be expensive, you can't really bring your floor with you when you move.

Uhm... If it's a magnetic Bed it's bound to be like sleeping on the floor unless you place a matress ontop of it.

But as far as pimp factor goes it's tight. I wonder if it'd wiggle around during sex.

Actually you're wrong.

Magnets weigh a LOT...In order to create enough repulsion you'd need a layer of about 800 pound magnets. (800 pounds of repulsion)

You'd never move if you have this bed.

Plus if the mattress flipped over wouldn't it slam into the base since you switched the mattress polarity?

Yea, it would, but they install it right side up, and diagonal tethers on each corner keep it from flipping.
