I think I'm a bit confused...is this a message board we're talking about? Because if it is, who cares what they think? Lots of people, unfortunately, like to flex their internet muscles to cope with their own insecurities. You can't take it personally....these are people online for Christ sake!

It's confuseing. I'm just ignoreing them now. It's working ok. Every now and then someone comes behind my post and saya that it's stupid, but i don't really care. It's when the insult my gender or sexual preferance that sends me into a rage. I mean those are things I can't help... |

...so why waste energy on them? You can correct their idiocies with facts, but beyond that, it's not worth holding the grudge. You can just put them on the list of "people talking out their arse" and continue to ignore them.
Sounds like a schoolyard bully gang. Maybe at some point, you could find out from them why they're so intent on mocking you (or everyone) and then with understanding, find some way to deal with them. |

It's been my experience that people that inept are rarely able to understand what they are doing to people. In their little minds all they see is "I made a funny, haha!" They don't see what really happened, that they hurt someone else. It's far too easy to be mean to someone you can't see and that you'll probably never meet. Being nice to someone makes them feel insecure. If they actually got outside of their mom's basement and said that stuff to someone in the "real world" they'd probably get their asses kicked!
Don't worry about them. Remember, you've got friends here who love you for who you are! |
