Scrum shrugged. "It's probably just George, the night custodian." Scrum kicked a door and grimaced as it fell over. "Well...shall we?"

"George should be fired, that door fell down way too easy!"
After the dust cleared Kudasai saw a staircase that went down into darkness. All around him were cobwebs and dust. The light was a single bulb suspended from the celing by a wire.

It was quiet. Perfect silence except for their breathing.

"When all through the house no one stirred. Not even a mouse.
I don't suppose anyone brought a flashlight?"

After a long pause Kudasai's eyelids began to get heavy. "I guess this would be a good place to set up camp. We've been at this for quite some time we really should get some rest." No sooner did the words leave his mouth than Kudasai slumped over. As his eyes closed he noticed a slight colored haze in the air and an odd smell. Kudasai eeks out a whisper, "Ryukku... Scrum... Poison... gas!", just before collapsing into a deep sleep.

Ryukku grabs Scrum's hand and runs backwards abit. "OH NO! What do we do?!" Ryukku looked at her fallen companion. "We have to go save him right Scrum?"

Scrum sniffed the air, then made a face and waved her arms around wildly. "UGH! George has been eating too many bean burritos, I'm afraid. Stinky, but not deadly." She walked over to Kudasai and poked him in the shoulder. "Don't you think that you are over-reacting a bit? You'll be okay. Just breath through your mouth."

*pinches nose shut*
"Man! That do stink, though! I think we should go find George and get some answers. To quote Toucan Javier, "just follow your nose"!
Kudasai pulls a Zippo out of his pocket, lights it, and procedes down the dark staircase. He decends for quite a while with no end in sight, when he notices the odor has changed. "Does it smell like burnt hair to anyone else?"

Kudasai looks back at the huge snarling beast standing just inches from him. Much larger than a gorilla but the same basic shape, it has long sharp claws on each paw and blood red eyes. He can smell the creatures foul breath as it closes in on him. It reaches out it's long fur covered arms brandishing it's huge razor sharp claws. Kudasai slowly backs up and hits a wall. There's no way out! Out of ideas and out of time Kudasai brandishes his sword and prepares to make his stand against the massive beast, when suddenly POOF! The whole creature was suddenly engulfed in flame! Screaming and flailing the thing ran smack into every wall around untill finally the floor gave way under it's flaming weight. It fell, breaking through the floor beneath us it landed with a thunderous thud! No sooner did it come to rest on the floor below, still aflame when that floor gave way and the creature proceded to crash through one floor after another untill it hit the bottom. Still aflame, though only a speck of flickering light to us now, the screaming beast lay in his dark toomb!
Kudasai turns to Scrum, "Tell me that wasn't George!"
