My psycho neighbor...

I bought my Grandma's house from her whenshe got it inher head that she could just move in w/ my mom.She's getting older and lived alone so it was a great idea.

We did the move and all that. Everything worked out great...except for my neighbor. She took my grandmother moving out really hard...in fact,she'd tear up whenever she'd talk about her...and once again when my grandma came to visit the neighbor teared up and whined about not knowing how to reach her (Hello! phonebooks exist for a reason!)

But other than that, this neighbor left me alone.

One day, we started talking out in our yards. She mentioned she was going out of town but, had to leave her cat all alone on its b-day. Then she started to bring up the idea that she and my grandma had swapped keys. So she asked if I would try to check on her cat at some point while she was gone...silly me, I said I would.

So it rolls around to when she's supposed to be gone and I go over to check. My key doesn't work...but at least I made the effort. A couple days later, I was at a little party at my other neighbor's and found out that I had slept through all the action of the night before. That neighbor of mine never went out of town like she said...AND she had tried to kill herself!!!but had second thoughts and called 911 on her own. (I think she took some pills).

I didn't have anything to dow/ her since then, and confirmed w/ my grandma that my neighbor never did get a key to my house.

Now within the past month, this neighbor is at it again. She hurt her knee at a baseball game and has been milking it for all she can. One night, she came dragging herself up the driveway begging my fiance to pull his truck up closer to my house...claiming she has trouble backing her car out and needs the room. We didn't think much of it, but said ok, and we thought that was the end of it.

My fiance has a big truck...it won't fit in the garage even if my car wasn't in there. I had to run out to the grocery store one night but he was blocking me in. So I had to back his truck out to get my own car out. When I walkedout, I had noticed that my neighbor was standing in her garage...but the door was half closed. I backed his truck out, and backed it out really far cuz I have a new car and suck at backing my own out. All of a sudden, here comes my neighbor out of nowhere yelling at me "What do you think you're doing?!" I explain to her what I'm doing and will move his truck right back after I get my car out...but she refuses to listen, and tells me that she's had it and my grandma wouldn't put up with this...blah blah blah and tells me she's going to complain to the board about this and insist that my fiance park his truck in the visitor spaces at the clubhouse (um yeah, he lives w/ me)

She freaks and so do I. Except I beat her at her own game, which makes me feel good. I called the board myself, telling them EVERYTHING about her. They back me up, saying that what she's doing is harrassment. Oh, and they know she's a nut...

Nothing has happened since then...and we've tried to keep the truck closer.

This woman is absolutely crazy! I really just wanted to get all this down on "paper". She honestly scares me.

My family doesn't even know about that latest incident...I didn't want them to worry.

The suicide thing was the really scary part. It just keeps running through my head of what would have happened if my key actually HAD worked. Would I have found her body?! Not to mention being questioned by the police...I would have been a suspect if I had been the one who found her....*shivers*

Man thats a wild story. This woman remind me a lot of my neighboor lady. Only shes just needy, dependant, and whiney - not suicidal or manipulative yet.

I've had several suicidal neighbors. (don't live near me, I'm cursed, apparently) Living next to one neighbor was like an episode of COPS every night! There's a lot of nuts in the world.
