There's quite a few in Montreal that I know of:
- SHO DAN - One of the most beautiful (and expensive) restaurants in Montreal. The sushi and sashimi slices are thick, the dishes are creative, and the ambiance is top notch. Give their sushi pizza a shot.
- KATSURA - I've never been there, but my parents have. A restaurant that's been around for a bit longer, and is considered on par with Sho Dan.
- TOMO - Located in northern suburbia. Tomo features a simple and modern design, coupled with sushi of great quality. A good alternative when you don't want to fight the traffic.
- SUMO - This is the place where BWS-1 and I usually go. It is located on the northeastern tip of Montreal, and thus is rather easy to access with few to no traffic for the both of us. Along with a selection of sushi, they have great tempura dishes.
