Seeing as the Dooters got married yesterday, I thought this thread would be a good idea.
I dot know about in America, but after the ceremony, you usually have a big meal then in the evening a big Reception Party.
When my brother got married, my sister in law got extreely drunk at the Reception Party and started Skanking to Madness, requested the song Ebeneezer Goode and pretended she was raving circa 1990 and then started running around the hall doing the actions to the Village People song YMCA, but to every single song played. |

My wedding was held on the deck area of my in-law's house (it's like this large, multi-layer deck). On the bottom part is a pool, and we thought it would be SO COOL to float flowers and candles in the pool. And it looked gorgeous. Until the candles caught the flowers on fire. It was so funny when it happened though =) |

When my friend got married, I missed the first toast, so I told one of my other friends that I missed it, and he gave a toast from the heart. Which was hilarious. |

My (now ex) Brother In Law started repeating the stuff he'd had to repeat when he spent a month in prison, rather than what the minister was reading for him to repeat.
Great way to start a marriage! might be why their now divorced. |

One of my friends just got married a few weeks ago. At the reception, the brides sister (slightly tipsy) was out on the dance floor yelling "Come on guys! Single woman over here who wants someone to dance with!" |

At my brother-in-law and sister-in-law's wedding (wasn't there, just heard about it), they had a friend that was controlling the music for them, and the guy walked away or missed it when the wedding march started, so (accidentally) my sister-in-law marched to Queen. |
