I can't wait for Final Fantasy XII!!! I just got the artbook and guide, and it looks so sweet!!! I love how they named the airships after the old summons and then came out with totally original ones for this game. ^.^ Exodus looks freaking sweet!!! *squee*

Final Fantasy VIII is one of my favorite ones. Gunblades do rock, but I think the thing that hooked me was being able to move your home base around. ^.^ it was like traveling with your own inn. And no XXXXX gil/rest fee!  |

How can you not love a game where the main character's most powerful attack is a giant energy blade that you can see from space, or Zell's "run around the world at the speed of light and plow into the badguy" attack? |

I like the sci-fi elements, FF6 had quite a bit of them.
IV, III, VI, I, IX, V, X, VII, II, VIII
FF IV of course being my all time favorite, followed by III and then VI. I just wish it didn't take them so long to released III. |

I emplor<sp> that you play IV. If you like classic RPGs you should love IV. It's a bit linear but the store I'd say is probibly the best and full of nice plot twists. |

the GBA port of it is VERY buggy. I recommend getting the rom of hard type then the J2E translation of it.
The DS one is going to be FF III

hot damn they redid the song Clash on the Big Bridge in FF XII, it's one of my fav songs/sequence from FF V |

I thought 8 was just a tad sh***y. I'm with BM in that I hated the gunblade. I loved 10 mostly because of the card game. I played that longer than the actual game.
I now own 12 and will commence to gelatinizing my brain. Have a good night all. |
