So Gamepro.com is the first to recieve their retail version Wiis (as far as i know). Check the size comparison, the PS3 is like the size of my bed.

We all knew the Wii would be small. Why shouldn't it be?

The PS3 is only bigger than the 360 b/c it didn't do the external brick that the 360 did. Stick that brick next to the 360 and see the size difference then.

And the only reason they didn't do the brick is so that they can do it later and produce a "smaller, redesigned PS2" when they drop the price.

Well, that's all speculation right now but the history is there with the PS1 and PS2. I wonder if they'll do it for the PSP...make it as small as the GBA and you can carry the power supply around in your pocket. Hmm... Rolling Eyes

It could also be that currently it's cheaper to design with the AC adaptor inside the unit, rather than the exterior.

PSP has an external AC adaptor already.

Although it hasn't happened to me...yet. Things get stepped on, thrown around and even get the occasional nibble from the family pet...not to mention the random shorts that occur. I do have a controller that likes to randomly decide its not connected to the system...right in the middle of a game....really bad for things like a personal best on DDR.
