Ok, here's the report of all the chaos:
The sunday b4, we went to my fiance's Dad's
Wednesday: we went to my mom's
Thursday (Turkey Day): we drove down to South GA for his mom
Saturday: we drove back
Sunday: we slept all day
Monday: back to work with another nasty head cold and sore throat.
We didn't do much of anything except meet tons of "step" relatives from his mom's new husband. No Alligators (it was supposed to be too cold so, they were hibernating) Although some of the guys went Squirel hunting...as much as I take everyone's word that its actually good, I couldn't bring myself to try it. I was actually more disappointed that we didn't have any Alligator. I was more willing to try that than Squirel.
although its a bit more complicated to explain, I'm an animal lover. Squirel is just not on my list as food. |

theres hardly any meat on a squirel anyways-lol-
i hate xmas and seasonal things-it always ends up in arguements and then no speaks to each other for months-apparently xmas is one of the highest causes of divorce and separation
Its also one of the main causes of accidents-'I ACCIDENTLY threw the fork at her, honest' |

Yeah, holidays cause more stress than they need to...I'm not a big fan of Thanksgiving...but being asked constantly by relatives..."What do you want for Christmas?" gets really old. |

I guess Ive been lucky, my family is pretty cool and when we get together to have turkey day its usually rolls pretty easily. My wife doent have a lot of family around here, so we have a small dinner at her mom's usually the day after and thems the breaks.
Sorry that thanksgiving puts you in such a stress. Maybe next year you might think about planning your own thanksgiving and inviting friend that youre both comfortbale being around. Tell your families your busy with other plans or that you have to work something. Or just tell them the truth, that you cant spend every minute of every holiday with all 3/4 families and your going to choose one and call it a day.
Either way, if you want to get something you want, you usually have to inconvenience other people. What gets me is why is other people's business what I do on a holiday. To some people, what it is more is a satifaction to THEIR ego when you show. When you dont show to a family thing, they get all frumpy not because they just really had to see you, but because they wanted you to be there just for the sake of you showing up. Ive only got a couple relitives like that, on my wife side, and they really bother me that they cant just accept that were a different family and might have our plans.
Anyway, sorry your sick, hope you got a lot of free food ^^ |

My mother is a nightmare-She never wants us to visit Rivas parents-she would always makes excuses for why she cant have the dogs so that we couldnt go even though it had been planned for a while.
If i had my way id spend all of xmas in bed with the phone disconnected.I really hate this time of year as it stresses me to the max and ruins what could be a good day |
