Soo... Now that the Wii is out and can go online.. Is it possible to go online with PSO while on the Wii? And still have to pay a fee? Cause im an Anti-Payfee person. And guildwars became pretty lame now. But yeah, thats my questionnn. |

That's a good question. I don't know because Sega charges a fee to play on their servers regardless of how you connect so I would think free play is out of the question. But could you play on the Wii? Hmm...
I'l test out PSO Card Rev later tonight. If I have to buy a Hunter's License tho (like I expect I would) then I'm out cause like you, I'm not into paying for gaming. At least not til I find something that definitely gives me a real awesome experience. |

You will have to pay a license, although I think their closing the services down next year so they may be offerng a free period of play time. |

Well it's all a moot point because you can't connect Gamecube games online thru the Wii (at least not PSO). It looks for the modem to be connected to the port and not just for an online signal. Since the Wii doesn't have that GC port, it reports that there's no modem attached.
This irritates me that Nintendo wouldn't have announced this. They announced that the DS wouldn't play GB games in mulitplayer mode because the system has no link port so they should have announced this. I'm sure it's not something that "slipped their minds". We can understand that the physical differences prohibit play so tell us outright.
I am happy to announce that the Wavebird wireless controllers work flawlessly tho, even better than the Wii remote. |

Well, PSO was only one of about 5 games max that supported the network adapter for cube, so its not something that would of affected alot of people. |

Yeah, I guess. Nintendo didn't take the adaptor seriously in any way. I wonder why they even bothered. |
