For a 360 game, that's quite an accomplishment.
Only problem... this game looks so childish.

I doubt I'll be getting it off the bat. I would like to see it though.

Yeah, people stood in line to pick up a copy of Blue Dragon in Japan. We put up some premium Blue Dragon Bundle porn last week to show just how slick the Blue Dragon bundle is. The bundle seems to have worked, though. According to Joystiq, Blue Dragon sold 70k units in its first week in Japan between the bundle and the actual game. While that's only a drop in the bucket compared to the success a company like Nintendo enjoys in Japan -- for Microsoft, that's a big deal.
Now, about that U.S. version of the game? Get crackin' on the translations. |

As for the looks, I think it's cute and cartoonish, but able to be serious. Chrono Trigger 3D, even. As far as the music goes...well, the audio in the video you linked to was kinda tinny, so I guess I'll just have to wait until it comes out Stateside...I will be getting this game. Sakaguchi, Toriyama, and Uematsu all on one game... |

Looks as if Blue Dragon is Mistwalker's Dragon Quest, and Lost Oddessy will be Mistwalkers Final Fantasy. |
