Awww, such sweet babies. Your calico sounds just like my mom's.

Start now by going to the local vets to post adoption pics and ask for advice on what to do and how to get them adopted. PLEASE don't dismiss the idea that nobody would want your calico b/c she's not as social. Females are actually easier to adopt out, and being a real calico is an even better plus.

I'm a bit of an animal lover who just doesn't have the means to help as much as I'd like (or else I'd have a zoo of cats and dogs)
Just keep in mind that ANY pet is adoptable by SOMEONE. Its all a matter of matching the pet to the owner

...and on one soapboxy bit, its not their fault you can't keep them and even though your haven't mentioned it, PLEASE don't put any of them down. Its not fair to them, and they didn't do anything to deserve that kind of fate.

Are they indoor cats only? (I sure hope so) Is tehre anything else we should know? (claws, fixed/not fixed, etc).

I'm going to ask my bf today, and if I get a big No after much pleading, then I will ask my mom. I'll let you know what I find out.

Yes both are indoor cats. The male does like to go out but I wouldn't advise it. He's not the brightest, the female has an interest but is very cautious. They do have their claws, I just couldn't put a cat through that kind of surgery, they are both fixed and have all their shots. They are very healthy cats. We are animal lovers hence all the animals. Unfortunatly we never thought we would be going to Germany. We had one of those cat trees that you get from Walmart but it broke when we moved to our current location. They REALLY liked it. If it's a go let me know which one or both. The Male comes with this foam Pooh Bear Chair that he loves and my older son doesn't use anymore. I also have an automatic litter box by litter Maid. You can get the refill bins at Walmart or Pets Mart I believe. It is a wonderful invention.

If there is anything else you need to know just ask.

I would never put an animal down, especially a healthy one at that. I would sooner let fate take it's course in a rescue facility.

Although my vet kinda sucks when it comes to finding homesfor pets (even though they run a freakin website for it) the vets around you might be a good place to start for relocation help.

The rescue centers here are over crowded! There is some couk doctor on post that tells these pregnant women to get ride of their cats if they don't want their babies to be deformed or some junk! It's outrageous! Yes there are certain diseases you can get from there pooh and what not but it is very rare. While I was pregnant(both times) someone else changed the litter box or I did it with gloves and something covering my mouth and nose. There is no reason to get rid of a cat just because you are pregnant! Sorry bout that the whole situation irritates me to no end. That is why I say she will have little to no chance in being adopted out around here.

Well, mom says no go, shes not ready for cats right now.

My bf hasnt said anything, which means he's either ignoring me, hoping I wont ask lol, or thinking on it. I dont know that it looks good but he may suprise me, who knows. I would say see if you can find someone else, but maybe I'll give him until the end of the month to think about it before i start hounding him. We'll see...but I just didnt want you to put your faith in me taking them, because I cant confirm that right now.

Pet finder is an awesome site... and your calico is soo pretty ^^ .. i realy wish i could have another kitty ... but we dont have the room.. but if you do have to take them to a shelter.. i strongly agree with the "no kill shelters" .. there are a few here.. but i love the idea of them.. i wish more of them
