Living in Britain I think its now illegal for animals to be used in circuses, I may be wrong there. I've only ever been to one circus and that didnt have animals.

Likewise, the Zoo, despite british zoo's being quite small (well London is) I've never seen any animals treated badly, but then I think laws regarding the keeping of animals are stronger here anyway, especially exotic animals.

well, I hadn't thought about the circus in a long time, but i think it's pretty obvious that animal abuse and the circus would go hand-in-hand. The problem is that there's that demographic of Americans that couldn't give a crap about anything except for themselves and what their 30 IQ can handle.

Greatest show on Earth?

Hell yeah!...when I was 5 Laughing

Front row seats with me clutching my souveniers for dear life...or else they'd meet to doom of the elephant doody. Exclamation

Front row seats can really stink if there are elephants involved. Rolling Eyes

The circus doesn't really appeal to me now...
