The truth is no one wants anything to ever go wrong or hurt them. People have become so self indulgent that they want the Utopian idea of Earth that everything is the way it should be. Only problem is...everyone has a different perception of what Utopia would be.

How about, you don't like it, don't watch it and let the rest of us that don't mind WATCH THE DAMN GAME!

Sorry

I see only one solution to this newfound problem.

Cancel the superbowl.

Watch USA try to murder me.

If only it were that easy. That argument gets used all the time...trouble is, you can say it until you're blue in the face, but there will ALWAYS be people who can't just mind their own business and have to ruin it for everyone else. What I do to poison my own morals and ethics should be of no concern to you, unless it's directly affecting you, which it is most definitely not.

That would be hysterical. Maybe if we can get the NFL players to complain that they're not getting paid enough they'll go on strike! Replacements FTW!

In my defence, I saw the silohuette before seeing the shape of the guitar itself. So my initial mental reaction was "WTF strap-on?"... then they showed a front on view where the guitar was shown and I was more like: "Oh, the guitar has a thing on the side of it... Fail at Austin Powers..." then I tilted my head sideways and realized the guitar was really trying to be a Prince symbol and I was like "Oh, ego. That makes more sense."

That was the point. It was SUPPOSED to look like his symbol.
That's what I typed... Still, whoever made the guitar missed the mark a little bit. Razz

I'm okay with the superbowl, it's a great tradition. Since about 1998, I've grouped it with traditions like the WWF pay-per-view special or monster truck rallys. I don't watch them, but they're just fine to have on the airwaves.

Ok, I thought it looked phallic in nature, but I thought it was funny. Then again, my mother explained the birds and the bees to me at a very young age, so I think if I would have seen it at 5-6 years old I would have giggled then been along my merry way. The only way children will remember this is if people blow it up, and hey, look what happened. Sometimes I think it's done on purpose, like maybe big brother somewhere wants to spark something or make the public react, so they formulate this crap, lol. J/K, but seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if 99% of all viruses were created by Norton and McAffee. Makes sense, no?

Come on, its Prince...it's kind of expected from him, he did nothing different than he ever does...if anything he was FAR more tame than I've ever seen him...and I didnt really like it. I like old school nawty Prince better, anyday of the week. Darling Nikki anyone? lol

As to the "complaints", they said they really havent seen THAT many about it. Some people just are so bored in thier lives and have nothing better to do than to complain, and I pity those people who feel so miserable, that they have to make the lives miserable of everyone else that they can possibly reach out to. Those kind of people, arent needed in the world. They are a waste of space. A waste of air. A waste of time. They can all go burn in a fire for all I care. Devil

There are always other options. They can choose to watch something else. They can choose to change the channel. They can choose to not watch tv at all and go do something productive in thier lives...but NO! Instead they CHOOSE to wallow in thier misery, and complain about the stuff that they can manage on thier side to not have to see or deal with anyways. And those people, are the people that need to stop breeding morons into this world. Mr. Green

:clapping with tears in eyes: That was beautiful! This girl's like a female Shakespeare. Marvelous.

Seriously. For anybody that's ever listened to Prince you kind had to see something like this coming (no pun intended). His lyrics are riddled with sex and/or sexual innuendos. If anything the people that booked him for the show should recieve the brunt of this stupidity.

All the people that I was with made a phallus joke about the silhouette, we all had a big laugh, and went on with the show. We may have all been having Robin Hood: Men in Tights flashbacks, but that was okay, too. Besides, you can't get someone on shadow puppetry.

Speaking of questionable content, here's a totally off-topic thing to make you laugh:

My friend got a 3 day ban from WoW Burning Crusade.

The reason on his record is, and I quote: "Dead babies jokes."
