Ok..ok..ok..ok...ok.

So the hubby and I are doing the whole house hunt thing and we switched our goggles to Loft hunting mode. Obviously we want to make sure it has green space for the pooch and that everything is kosher.

Well today, we went and checked out a loft that was converted from an old high school (pretty kick ass).

But what's more kick ass, is that one of them that we looked at that was for sale....

....is the loft of Morgan Rose: drummer of Sevendust.

Talk about crazy surreal. Super nice place too. Would totally go for it but it's on the third floor and no elevator and I soooooo don't want to schlepp my super heavy dining table up those steps! But how cool would it be to live there!?

Dooters... if you do go with the Loft... will there be enough room for Bella to play? I know you were set on a yard...

How many people can say they live where in the same place someone famous lived? Not many, but one of them can be you! That is soooooo cool! It sucks about the whole third floor thing and the lack of a yard but life is about compromises right? It's a tough decision. As far as the third floor thing goes I'm with Sciler, just hire movers. Anywhoo, good luck!

Yeah, the yard thing is a very big deal but it seems like the only way to get anything half decent and in a price range that isn't killer on the budget is to move out to East Bumble.

So we started discussing the length of stays at certain places. We are checking out lofts that either a) cater to pets (and you'd be amazined at how many have "dog runs") or b) are near dog parks.

I agree with what was pretty much already said. As long as the price is in your range (and you like it) and there is adequate space for Bella (whether there or nearby) I say go for it. What's 10 minutes of pain and suffering for years of happiness in a place with a great story? And if you really wanna skip the pain, you can hire movers. Hell, if I lived around you guys I'd help you move. I found I'm pretty good at getting heavy things up and down stairs.

I think the one we would go for in that particular area is one on the second floor and is a bit bigger. It was just cool to be skipping around in someone's place that is famous. Well maybe not skipping.

Sounds cool to me... I've got a yard, but not really a good one for a pup... some units are better than others though.

We live in a condo in West Cobb...there's a unit for sale that has a lot more yard-space for a dog...I think its 3bed/2bath.

I can get you more details if you're interested (PM me)...just don't want to post the finer details and have everyone pop in on my doorstep lol Rolling Eyes
