It's been teased, unteased, and said to be a "definite possibility". What's the status of the long-rumored God of War PSP game? Thanks to the intrepid picture-taking of 1UP user "SarshelYam" -- and the early copy of God of War 2 that he got his lucky mitts on -- we can safely report that it's a certainty.
Included with the two discs of God of War 2, as one would expect, is a manual. And on the back of that manual? Sweet, sweet confirmation. Oh, and also? If the advertisement is to be believed, it's coming this year.
The small teaser image leaves nary a hint as to who will actually be developing the game, but with the unnamed PSP title from Ready at Dawn remaining unannounced as of yet, we're not counting them out. More news the moment it hits! |

PS3 God of War confirmed... with rumble?
PSP God of War an original story that links to the PS2 games and possibly the PS3 game.

Resident God of War freak Matt Leone is at the PlayStation store at Sony's Metreon in San Francisco and is reporting back from the big God of War 2 launch event.
In his blog he confirmed that God of War 3 is coming to PS3, that it will feature rumble support and 1080p resolution, and that if might even include co-op! He also confirmed some cool details on God of War for PSP -- "It is epic. It is big. There are hooks in the PSP story that I actually wrote from one of my first stories for God of War 2, so there are a lot of elements -- we're going to keep connecting all this stuff."

awww....i don't wanna go buy a PSP though...and a PS3 for that matter. Maybe i'll wait till so many people don't buy the PS3 that it drops sufficiently in price that i find a used one and buy it for muy cheapo with my nasty discount.
Alas...it IS god of War...and isn't the next Devil May Cry supposed to come out for the Ps3?

I still think it will drop in price by the end of the year.
