This is a REALLY cool story.
Insomniac impressed me a lot with it. While Sony's giving of products was nice, it doesn't realy compare with what Insomniac did.
I may actually watch this episode so I can see if the show anything that Insomniac did.
Way to go guys!

James Westbook is a 9-year-old child no stranger to disappointment or heartache. His father was paralyzed serving in Iraq, then suffered a stroke, was paralyzed in a car accident and his sister ended up losing a kidney in the same incident. It's because of these tragedies that ABC selected the family to be featured on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, where deserving families receive a complete home makeover in a seven-day period. And while commendable, that's not why we're telling you this story.
Insomniac Games (Ratchet & Clank, Resistance: Fall of Man) heeded the call of the program, and digitally inserted James into Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction after they heard about the child's love of videogames. Apparently, much like the construction workers on the show, the developers rallied together to complete what could have been a month long digitalization of James within a week.
Sony Computer Entertainment America also provided the Westbook family with not only a PS3, but a PS2, PSP and a bevy of games, as well. If you're interested in watching this particular episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, it airs this Sunday, April 22, at 8PM EST on ABC. |

Pssh! I'd take any game. I mean this is something that you get to hold on to share. The kid is 9, when he has kids he can say... hey when I was your age... I was in a video game!

I wonder if it will air over here.
I have seen one season three times now and I have been able to see it for only 5 months.
But it is so heartwarming to see how happy the families gets. All the appreciation are real. |

I just saw the part with the game. It was pretty neat. He flies around in a mini ufo, and looks kind of like Jimmy Neutron. lol |
