3rd yes, but this is a true upgrade in to the realm of 3D. Which means FF 5 and 6 might follow.

Same here Riva, but I think the point is that FFIV has been milked to death. FFIII hasn't.

I have FFIV for SNES and PS1. Didn't it also come out for GBA? Now it's coming for DS too?

WTF?

It looks nice and all, but come on, give us something new... that's better than your FFXII DS BS.

Eh, I don't really mind. How long ago was the PS1 port? You have to remember we're dinosaurs, so we own all the original versions of these games. The GBA one I didn't buy, but I would probably consider buying a FF3'd version of Four. Definitely. And if they do the same for 1-2, 5, 6. I'll be supporting those too

Besides here in PAL land the disc with FFIV on is as rare as something quite rare (but not as rare as other things which are rarer, sorry). And usually costs too much to warrant buying. FFIII never got a release over here, ever so thats all good, and all the retro FF's that were released on PS1 (I think we had a disc with 4 and 5 on, and 6 on its own) were released right at the end of the PS1's life span so were hard to get hold of.

FFI & II came on gBA and ive seen that about and I've seen one or two copies of IV on gba but not alot else.

Besides, I might be getting a Wonderswan cheap soon, and I'll probably get FF I, II and IV in japanese and just use a translation for them....

Plus the re-release of III had enough work put into it to warrant it, it wasn't just a striaght port, and even if it was, I'd be happy just seeing that FMV intro!!! Shocked

I'm not disagreeing at all. And lord knows I'll probably buy it anyway.

But another thing that gets me, is they are doing all this for the DS FF remakes... why not the PSP ones?

1 and 2 look good, but it's still just high rez sprites.

The only way to teach them what we want is to just not buy those remakes I guess.

I know for a fact I'm not buying 2. I've heard it just straight up sucks.

1 is a different story though. I haven't played that one in a long time, and I've seen it. It's... pretty. Even if it's not in 3D.
