I spent a long period of time not drinking a lot of soda, so now when I have it it's pretty gross....especially diet. If I do have a craving, I try to stick to more organic, natural brands that don't have lots of crap in them, like Boylan's. Or I just drink club soda or sparkling water, which I am actually quite fond of, especially when you mix some juice in there. |

Nope, that's another one I need to get to...and the chocolate. Now that I know I like it, I'll buy the bigger cartons. |

Yeah, soda is evil. It actually causes damage to your pancreous (sp?), has no nutritional value, and is chalk-full of sugar and empty calories.
Soymilk, on the other hand, is great! I love all the varieties, and it is much gentler on your stomach than cow milk, and has lots of great nutrients.

Vanilla Silk tastes like melted sugar cookies...yucky. But the light chocolate milk is a winner for me! That's one reason I love going over to Ming's house
As good as soy milk is...I've heard that is can cause/speed up breast cancer in women. Since then, I've steered clear of it. However, I'm sure there's a new study about that proving it false, because everything new supposedly causes cancer...haha. Nevertheless, I like it from the cow, like in the old days when I was young, except I drink it skim now and not whole. |
