I guess part of me still hopes for Bemani games other than DDR to get releases stateside. But they tried that with beatmania IIDX and that was met with a lot of criticism of it being a rip off of Guitar Hero, despite the fact that beatmania predates DDR. Imagine them trying to bring Guitar Freaks and Drum Mania over now.
Mostly all I care about is Pop'n Music. As long as Harmonix (or i guess Activision now, bleh) doesn't make a Pop'n clone I can still dream of Pop'n coming stateside. |

yeah it's pretty crappy that that happens, but remember that the typical American lives in his/her little hole and doesn't realize that stuff like this does happen in other countries. |

That's not the set breakdown and this game officially sucks!
/sniffle I am so disappointed that they would actually release a game like this. All you get is 30 songs, same guitars as in GH2, only 6 characters and each of them with only 1 outfit, all the venues are the same but with their "80's" style, which they didnt really do much to make them look 80-ish. The songs are not even hard in expert! And the sound quality for some of them is horrible! For $50 the game is totally not worth it. I wouldve paid $30 at the most for this piece of unfinished crap.
Makes me wonder how great GH3 will be... *sniffles* |
