I made this a while ago, I guess i just forgot to upload the photo.
A euro 4-1 braclet, with half persian trim, sold this to a friend. I realy like the way that the half persian holds the 4-1 togeather its preaty cool looking, even though the pic is crap. |

Sorry for the double, but it wont bump unless I do
This is another picture of the ring a braclet, it shows the color better even if its a little blurry
And in taking a break with my shirt, this is my first attempt at a tie
Its dragons maille, with a japanese 12-3 for the "knot", and a byzantine chain to tie it around my neck
Everyone does 4-1 or 6-1 for thier ties, and I wanted to be different, the end result inst as cool as I hoped, but its still cool
I tie the ends of the byzantine chains with a leather thong
I think im going to try to emmulate the tie from DC wireworks, and make a "simulated" full windsor knot |

Thanks for all the support guys
This is a spiral chain bracelet. You have to keep the ends connected or it unwinds itself. it looks preaty cool.
Btw, if anyone wants a braclet or ring or necklace or walletchain, Or any thing (not including clothing, i dont have enough time to make people shirts , maby some bracers, but we'll have to talk) , shoot me a PM and we can work out the pricing and availability
The shirt is comming along, slowly but surely. I should have it finished by AWA. |

Sure thing, just let me know early, and i'll have it ready for AWA so you dont have to pay shipping.
I could do anything you see in this thread, and if you can find me a picture, probably most other things too. Because your a PO, ill just charge you for materials and not much else, but if its not 16 or 18 ga galvinized, or 20-22 ga copper or stainless steel, ill have to order it from TRL (the ring lord) and it may get expensive if its sterling silver or some other semi-presious or presious metal. Like i said, PM when you know what you want and we can work out the detales.
Edit so no dooblay postage:
This are examples of Roundmaille(left) and turkish roundmaille(right)
a few more practice weaves. These would probably make very delecate bracelets in the smaller gauges.
Edit again: oh, wow, realy crappy pic, ill try to get another one when i have time |

Cool!
I'm partial to copper...nothing too complicated or wide.
If you just post the names of the different weaves I can look them up. I'm not really sure what I'd be interested in v not...I haven't exactly seen anything that I didn't like...although I don't think I really need a tie LoL
Edit: forget all that...I went back through the pages and found this...
In copper with the double rings in steel(the ones that seem to connect each design piece.
I'll have to dig out another maille bracelet I have and measure it for the length, but I'd guess its somewhere between 7-8 inch...not sure on the ring size, it depends on what you have, but I do like the bigger rings, nothing all that delicate. |

If you dont want something delecate, i would sugest the 18ga or 16 ga (I recomend 16, its thin enough to not be bulky, but it wont be a tiny braclet either. 16 ga 1/4" rings in that patern makes a chain about 1x1 cm on each side, its a bit loose, so i might go get a smaller mandrel and try 3/16" rings). I'll look around for some copper in the area, but if i cant find any I may have to order it. So far the only copper i have seen localy comes in 20 and higher gauges, but im not finshes searching yet.
Also there was a mistype in my above post, I have 16 and 14 ga not 16 and 18 ga galvi on hand.
Anyway, ill PM you and let you know what comes up |

I may like copper but I certainly don't want you to have to go off and try to find the materials. If you don't already have it, then stick with what you've got.
Anyway....Luckily, I happened to have found a measuring tape at home where I could measure another bracelet I have...
Aim for around 7.5 inches in length, including clasp. Another nice bonus was that it has Centimeters on the other side
What you described about sounds great! But please just use what you've got! |
