Heh heh, I actually meant Jazz. The only Decepticon killed was the one that Prime offed under the highway. Who the Hell was that anyway? I think it's one of the Constructicons (Bonecrusher) but I believe they showed Devastator's name and that's impossible since he forms from all of the Constructicons.
I also can't believe Megatron is dead either for two reasons: 1) this opens the door for Galvatron to appear in the sequel
and
2) the movie is gonna make an assload of money so there will be a sequel. LOL
But Jazz has always been the Black guy from the start. They had Scatman Crothers (also did Hong Kong Fooey for those that remember that) voice him in the cartoon and original movie and got Darius McCrary to do his voice in this one. This, of course, is not a socio-political discussin tho. I'm just saying... |

Hahaha Razer! Ya know. I said the SAME thing when I left the theater!
Why they gotta kill Jazz!? ~sigh~ Always killing the black man! (Even if Turese did stay alive).
Ok - I wasn't expecting great dialogue - because frankly - go back and watch the OG cartoons and see if they have outstanding dialogue. I was thoroughly amused with that LaBouf kid and wasn't anywhere annoyed with him like I usually am. Kudos to him!
All's I gotta say is I nearly pee'd myself whenever Megatron OR Starscream transformed. DEFY GRAVITY! I give major props to the design team for keeping it old school with that. YES they needed more original transformation noise. You CAN'T have Transformers without the noise. |

Watched it last night and have to say I'm pleased with it. Although I agree why did Jazz have to die? I actually felt incredibly sad when he did as he was my favourite Transformer as a kid.... well favourite Autobot.
I wasn;'t fussed by Starscream or Megatron in this, they looked too alike for a start |

Yeah, they showed that the big tank was Devastator. And I think Bay didn't want to ever do a real Devastator in the sequels anyway, so like Spider-Man 3 they just axed him. After reading some of the prequel comics, I hope they do get Arcee in there for a sequel, or at least Hot Rod or Jet Fire. They gotta replace the fast car right? |

I read Bay wants to bring in the Dinobots in the sequel.
GRIMLOCK HAPPY! Although I can't imagine how he's gonna do it unless they crash land into a museum or La Brea tar pits. |

They killed Devestator...T_T
And Bumblecripple helped. 
I was glad Jazz died...If Optimus couldn't kill Megatron by himself or even stand up to him and another Auto-bot survived a frontal assault on him it would have been ghey. |

I left the movie completely satisfied and surprised!
The movie was just great.
Sure some of the dialog was cheesy, but honestly, would it have been Transformers without it.
So who did we have.
Prime lived. Ironhide lived, Bumblebee lived, Rachet lived. Jazz died.
Scorponok lived, Starscream lived, Baracade lived, Blackout died, Devastator died, Megatron died, Frenzy died.
Definitely option for a sequel.
There was WAY to much product placement though.  |
