Just picked up my PS3. Traded in a bunch of old stuff (PS2 included), and only had to fork out an additional 180 bucks. Anyway, I'm extremely happy with it. It hasn't swayed me as a gaming console just yet, but I'm sure it will eventually. Blu-ray is what is exciting me at the moment. 1080p on my new HDTV is absolutely beautiful. WiFi connectivity works great, also. Love that it upconverts DVDs and old PS1/PS2 games. The only game I have right now is Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Really looking foward to Rock Band. Wish they incorporated the dance mat, though. The game could use a dancer... Mighty Mighty Bosstones style.  |

Lair? Hmmmm... dunno a thing about the game. I'll check into it. I'm kinda out of the gaming loop... really just stick to rhythm games these days. But Heavenly Sword looks nice. |

Also, don't forget to download Gran Turismo HD (since it's free) and if you get ANYTHING from the store... make sure it's Super Stardust HD.
Game is freaking awesome.

As for rhythm games... part of me is actually leaning toward Rockband on PS3 now. From what I'm hearing, the controllers are going to be cheaper. Not sure if that's true or not. |

I'm also a PS3 owner.
My PSN tag is the same as my XBL tag.
As far as online games, I have Resistance, RR7 and Motorstorm. I'm looking forward to PS Home in a big way. Add me if you guys feel like it. |

Awesome... that's now a total of 5 PS3 owners on PO!
That means it's time to make a thread. 
As for online games... I also have RR7 and Motorstorm.
There isn't a Lair Demo yet, but they said there would be, so look for it soon.
Also, There's supposed to be a Heavenly Sword Demo for download THIS WEEK! *tears of joy*
Heavenly Sword is my most anticipated game for the rest of the year.
I've opened other threads about some great looking PS3 games. Uncharted looks great! So does Folklore and Ratchet and Clank.
You picked one up at the right time... this is going to be the first real flood of games between now and the end of the year. |
