I wish I was this talented, but alas, I am not.

That is going to be heavy, but great job on what you've completed. The last image looks the best to me...it looks a lot tighter.

But kudos on the ability to do all this...because I work with tiny jump rings when I make jewelry, and even those irritate me...so I know it takes a lot of patience to do this sort of thing.

Thanks for the complements Embarassed

Katana: which last one? (page number, or link to the pic)
I find small rings to be annoying... The bigger ones may be a bit harder to bend, but manipulating them is SO much easyer

Sciler: Want one? Smile

I'm actually starting to dabble in the chainmaille biz lately.

I picked up some shiny metal rings from Michaels and found a nice site that gives instructions.

http://www.dcwireworks.com/howto/howto.html

The set I bought has both large and small rings so it gave me the ability to do a lot with them.

So far, I've been able to create: Celtic Visions, A Locked Spiral, and a Full Persian---I think.

I sucessfully made a bracelet from a pattern I got from a magazine...but it looks just like the Full Persian...only the instructions are much easier.

The funny thing to all of this is that I can do the ones that are considered above beginner level...but I can't get the basic weaves to turn out. The only thing I can think of is that it has to do with my ring size...they might be too thin to hold together. But, I don't really have anyplace to buy rings...and don't need to be spending the money Wink
