For some reason after I installed Civ 4, I went to play it and it said "access denied: Please login with administrative privileges and try again." WTF?? I am the only user on the computer. OS is WinXP HE. Any help would be very appreciated.

OK, I found something online that requires me to boot in safe mode. Which I'll do tomorrow when I start playing it. The night time is the right tiome to pawtay.

Weird. I'd say uninstall the game and reinstall. This time do a custom install and choose the path and all that junk to make sure you are doing it fine.
Also, check your OS priviledges and administration settings. Sometimes when you make a User account other than the admin account, the admin disappears, but it's still exist.
It's weird to explain, happened to me once. |
