And really, even so, you eventually run out of clothes to take off, and most times when it's hot it doesn't matter how naked you are, you'll still be too hot. Or at least, I will. >_< I'd rather have it cold where you can keep adding on layers until you're eventually warm. |
Once you get to tank top and shorts you start breaking out the frozen mixed drinks =D. A couple of frozen marghritas or daquris and life is good. Hell a couple of easy sipping beers will take the edge off the heat. |

Oh, I beg to differ... What I will say, however, is that alcohol tends to make me feel hot, so I usually stay away from it in warmer weather, because it really doesn't help me all that much.
One of the reasons I've really started to hate the winter and the snow is that I can't tolerate the cold as well as I used to. I used to go around until probably about November or early December in shorts (Rev used to wear shorts year-round), but I can't really do that anymore. |

I wasn't aware Europeans were whores. I also know a good number of female athletes who frequently work out (when it's hot!) in shorts and sport bra. (Many of the forum topics are becoming rather inflammatory, and such argument makes me sad, but I am seeing a common theme in such threads, which in reality makes me even more sad.)
Really now, it's all just a matter of the perceptions of decency. And I thought this topic was about Snow, not stripping and margaritas. So, back to snow, we got about four inches last night, and we're still snowing. The roads weren't cleared very well because the snow didn't let up until an hour before rush hour, and they only got major roads cleared. I had to get a ride from someone with four-wheel-drive because I would've been in a ditch. ; The snow doesn't mean to cause inconvenience, it just does!
But it's gorgeous. There's this tree that all it has left on its branches are bunches of red berries. No leaves, just bright red berries. Snow is now on the tree like new highlights, making the red berries pop even more and making the tree look absolutely otherworldly. I don't think anyone can discount the beauty of a sleeping, snow cloaked landscape. Even the Llama Farm llamas looked like they were enjoyed the new look, and I know my puppy loved playing in the snow this morning; she had ice all over her belly and beard. She was a little santa claus.  I'm thinking about making a snow dog for her, but I may need some more dry snow for it to hold. I say just make the best of whatever weather you're having. :] |

I didn't say they were. I said that if I were to walk about in just shorts-- I'm not talking about a sports bra or anything, I'm talking completely topless-- I -would- be called a whore, regardless of how I personally feel about people walking around topless. That is the unfortunate truth about American conservativism. Apparently I can't word things properly anymore since everyone seems to be taking my words every which way but the one I meant them in. >_<
No snow yet, but it's getting colder again and more windy. I'm hoping there might be some snow this year, though. I want to see our babies play in the snow! They're born for the stuff, so why shouldn't they be able to play in it, just because the South sucks?! |
