Dare I say I might just be a tad bit......excited to see this one. After the first film I think many can say it was less than stellar. Well first thing they did right was bring this into the rated R realm. Thats where the films were, thats where they should stay.

I first said "WHY!!!" when I hear about this movie.
However, the trailer seems to make this movie not so much a sequel, but more of an apology for the first movie. |

Awesome!
Well, I'll watch it. May not be until HBO time, but I kinda liked the first one as a mindless action flick. As long as you left the story/plot (what little there was) at the curb. |

Having just seen the movie...IT WAS BEYOND AWESOME!!! ties so much from both series' back stories. plus you have to have seen ALL the movies to get the connections and fully appreciate it but even if you have not or are not a fan of any b4, you should like it. plus humans...they are as we all know are walking meat. sorry but we are just walking meat. |

Like Shino, I'll probably wait until the movie is Premium Cable available, but I will say that knowing all the disappointments simply at the rating of the first movie (all arguments being "Alien Movies-R... Predator movies-R... AVP-PG13) I laughed very hard when I saw the preview for the first time with a big red R at the end of the title.
I agree that most of the movie promotions I've seen seem like a message posted on the computer monitors of fanboys everywhere saying "We're sorry! Let's make it up to you! We want YOUR money now, not just kids buying action figures!" |
