I've been collecting/hoarding items for the PO party since well before the holidays to where we're going to be jam-packed with more snowflakes than we'll prolly see all season around here LoL

Target and I have grown very close this season with having blue and snowflakes on my mind, and in my cart. As much as I like the traditional Christmas Red, Green and Gold...I've really gotten into the various hues of Blue. Next year, some rooms of my house will be themed in the blueness! Cool

I've got to sit down this weekend and see what all I have and how creative we can be at decorating. Experimentation with light clips and suction cups are in my future...note to self and everyone else---self adhesive light clips take off paint. Shocked

There was a lady at our WalMart (we have no Target) who was literally moving THREE CARTS worth of stuff the day after Christmas. It was crazy. I had originally thought she was an employee moving Christmas stuff to a central location...

I'm going to need to buy a storage box to keep all the decorations in once everything is all set.

I've never even done a 2-cart before. Some ppl did have some really packed carts. PPL were going nuts over the candy! I'm good with 1 after I had tried and liked a bag I had bought earlier. Those hershey kisses that are Cherry Cordial are good...and are actually filled like the tradtional kind....I got that 1 extra bag of them today for 26 cents. Wink

She had cloth bows, giftwrap, ornaments, candy... you name it basically.

Of course, this is coming from someone who gets at least 4 bags of candy from the Halloween clearance....

Hrm. Perhaps Shino and I will hit up the one near us this weekend, then. We've been looking at Christmas ornaments, since nearly all the ones he has are A) secondhand, from his mother and B) ball-shaped ornaments, which gets boring after a while. ^_-

Shan, i could make So many bad references to "B)"...but I'll keep it at the fact that Dloe has the same annoying problem with ornaments.

I bought some new ones with some shape for next year that should help.

Wow...lots of ball ornament hating going on in here. Seriously though, we use mostly ball ornaments, all falling within a color theme (this year was silver), and only a few strategically placed "regular" ornaments (too many looks tacky in my opinion), and our tree always looks really pretty and elegant.

xD It's only because of my family's tree, Ming. In my family, we get a new Hallmark-type ornament each year...so there aren't any traditionally shaped ornaments on the tree, because we have waaaaaay too many personal ornaments (5 people in the family, each at least 22 years old, a new ornament every year since we 'kids' were infants...yeah) so I'm used to the tree having more personality than just ball ornaments. ^_^
