I would love to see the revival. I have a version with Patti Lupone as Ms. Lovett on DVD. She's terrific. I've also seen a clip of the revival where she is singing and cleaning rusty tools like a hack saw, hand drill and a limb trimmer. Great performance with that good ol' dark humor mixed right in. |

After seeing more and more previews, it looks like Johnny Depp is going to be almost perfect for the film version. I still don't care for the Jack Sparrow voice, but I have high hopes here. |

this was a great movie...loved the blood.. THE BLOOD!!! talk about an excelent slasher film with hilarity over the song discussing the types of "meat" walking about. |

I went and saw the movie with my mom and sister when they were here for the new year.
It was awesome!
We went from cringing to laughing out loud the whole time. The best musical I have seen in a long time. |

Saw this one on christmas day (sorry, I'm a little late.)
It was AMAZING. Helena Bonham Carter+Tim Burton+Johnny Depp=Trifecta of perfection.
It's funny, because as a natural born theatre dork, I usually hate it when they turn stage shows into movies. But this one was perfect. I don't think it could have been done any better.
Oh, and for those of you who haven't seen it...follow this movie with Ihop pancakes SMOTHERED in strawberry syrup. Trust me.  |
