Forgive the double post but in my craziness this month I have forgotten to tell any POs about our show at the Masquerade November 1st. we are playing early opening for FLAW! tickets are only $8 and you can get them from me. Doot and Blackmage are already attending, anyone else? Just PM me.

Oh and all the funds we make from this show will go to paying off our van! We will be able to drive it home and are already planning a southeast tour! Thank you for your help!

We have no bass player.

Hello Family Members,

We disappeared in November of last year, with a new van, a trailer, new guitarist, and a lot of determination. We were going to get the hell out of Atlanta, and forge our path as an out of town act. Since then lots has changed. We've been through a lot, and are still going through a lot, but we wanted to take this opportunity to let you guys know exactly what's going on with Code Atom.

We still have everything that I just listed, but at this moment, we are minus one bassist. Have no fears, Jimmy will be playing next Saturday with us, but that will be his last time on stage with Code Atom. He's decided to go a different direction in his life, and we are all really happy for him. He and Marlene are doing well, and there are no hard feelings. Jimmy has been in this with us for a long time, and as sad as it is to see him go, we wish him very well in everything his future holds. From now on though, we will always know James Allen Shane Armstrong as Jimmy Rufio.

Things got to be pretty crazy from there, with deciding what would be the next step for Code Atom. We bounced a lot of ideas off of the wall, but when it all came down to it, we decided that the only logical next step would be recording. We've thrown out a bunch of names of producers for the next album, but after hearing "Out in the Cold" on the LLL demo, we decided that we HAD one choice, and that was Brian Parker at Arsis.

We've been in the studio since the end of January, and things are going well so far, but this time is much different than on "At the Edge of Reason". We're not going to rush this one…we want to make it right. We're experimenting with sounds, and making sure that what ends up on the record is what we wanted. This time however, we have no solid release date, and we're not setting one until the mastering is done. Trust me, as things get closer, you guys will be the first to know, but from what I am hearing right now…it's going to be better than anything we have recorded so far, and that is not lip service, it's the truth. And in case you are wondering; Hello Halo / Harmony in Red / Persephone / Eventually / The Question Remains / and Out in the Cold will all be on the record with some interesting surprises mixed in there. We promise, we are working hard on this one to make it the next step in the evolution of Code Atom……

This brings us to you guys. We know that we have been lax on getting you guys involved in Code Atom, and that is our fault. The entire Atom's Family has helped to make Code Atom what it is today. From now on, we promise to be MUCH MORE hands on with the Atom's family, for those of you who still care to be a part of this, and for those that don't, no worries. We love each of you guys very much, and we want to make sure that you feel involved, and that you know this is your band as much as it is ours.

We have shows coming up, and we need all of your help, to make these shows big. All money we get from these shows is going to help pay Brian for the new CD, so we need any help you can give. Stay tuned, because there will be new developments, and you'll need to check in to the blogs to read them. Things are going to start moving fast for Code Atom again very soon, and we want to keep you guys there every step of the way…

Sadly I dont know how to play Bass...I still only play medium on RockBand and a select few songs Hard, im scared to try more lol /cry
