Below are the pictures of the Lunar Eclipse last night. DLOE, Fawkes, Feign, and others were there also. |

This is a test photo to make sure the Camera and eyepiece are setup right.
This is one of my favorites. Although, it just looks like a waning half-moon
Taken shortly afterwards with a different filter
This was taken about 9:00 PM
This was just about when the Full Eclipse started
This is dead smack middle of the Umbra. I needed to amp the light sensitivity on the camera to it's max to get a good shot.
I really wanted to use my high power eyepiece, but there was way to much ambient light around. Also, it was hard to calibrate with the all the shifting clouds. |

oh wow. Kickass pictures boy. I wish i would have been able to see it in the flesh...unfortunately i had to go to a speaker last night and got sucked into the world of politics. boohoo. |

I wish I could have gone to a speaker last night. The Upper Peninsula was supposed to be clear like it is today, instead Mother Superior sent in cloud cover thicker than her habit to shade the Lunar Eclipse from us. So thank you for sharing the pictures.
But it must be good luck, because last night I was able to procure $600 from undergraduate student government for Troupe's Spring Tour. I thank the eclipse! |

We had quite a bit of overcast here (The test photos show it). I was taking pictures between cloud formations. It prevented me from doing 10 second exposures, and high resolution pictures. |
