"Driving with the Wii Wheel could not be more natural, and this is one place where speeding is encouraged."
Mario Kart Wii will include 16 new courses and 16 classic courses from previous Mario Kart games. For the first time ever, players have the option of racing with either karts or motorbikes. Players can also hit the road as their personalized Mii™ caricatures in addition to the handful of classic Nintendo characters found in the game. True to the series, the game features tons of racing, plenty of power-ups and oodles of objects for players to use to slow down other drivers. And 10 battle arenas will keep players busy between trips around the circuit.
The easy-to-use Wii Wheel will also be sold as a separate accessory, giving every driver in the household a chance to get behind his or her own wheel. And if veteran Mario Kart fans are afraid of getting smoked by rookie drivers using the Wii Wheel, they can rest assured that Nintendo has them covered. Mario Kart Wii supports four different control options: Wii Remote™ with or without the Wii Wheel, Wii Remote and Nunchuk™ controller combo, Classic Controller and even the Nintendo GameCube™ controller. So there's bound to be a configuration that fits everyone's style.
Mario Kart Wii launches with a new channel added to the Wii Menu to enhance game play: The Mario Kart Wii Channel. This new channel builds on the huge online community of Wii owners and lets players compete in tournaments, check worldwide rankings, see when their friends are playing and download ghost data.

I got the game. I can say that I am very satisfied with it. The online play is seamless and really easy to do. The Mario Kart Channel let's you enter tournaments and download ghost and invite Wii friends to play Mario Kart. (Wii friends are the friends you have registered in your Wii system) You can send them an invite like a Wii mail, and it will have your friend code in it, so if they have the game, when they get the mail, they can instantly register you.
I am having a lot of fun with this game. It's worth a pick up! |

As far as myself, I'm too busy with Finals and GTA4 hits this week as well. I plan on getting it eventually but not anytime soon. How does the Wii Wheel feel? |

Amazingly it is very comfortable. Way better than using the Wiimote held sideways, anyway. I've never tried Ubisoft's but this one is molded and rounded so it's not just some flat edged, hollow P.O.S.
Add in that Nin made it where you can only get all of the moves, etc by using the wheel (tho I did play with my Wavebird and did better) instead of other control methods. I've read where it takes like a half hour to get adjusted. I'll be playing online in a few minutes so I'll know more since I'm gonna try to go Wheel exclusive from now on. |

Alright I cracked and ended up picking this up along with GTA IV. I'm not going to open it until after finals are done later this week but when I have a chance I will post my friend code. |
