Hate to be a bum trip like Faye but I'm not a fan either just because I can barely understand him when he talks, it all sounds mushed together. I saw him on a dvd once and I think I understood maybe three lines of the whole act.
Doesn't help that I am also hard of hearing, but yeah, I want to be able to understand my comedians. |

Damn northerners can't handle accents.
I was seriously impressed with Eddie's performance...In reality I had no idea where he could go after like 5 CD's and multiple tours. I was afraid he'd turn into Lewis Black and do nothing but political humor seeing as his well of other humor has long since dried up.
Not to say I don't like Lewis Black but I really only like him when he's more satirical instead of observational.
Eddie Izzard however took the basis of his old "Glorious" act revamped COMPLETELY till basically an outsider would see it as religious comedy where a true fan can go back over it and see the links to his Glorious show and the new one and know Eddie will be a round for a loooong time. |

The accent I can handle! It's his rate of speech and lack of enunciation. He talks so darn fast that everything comes out sounding like mumbling. I would laugh at him if I only I could hear what he is saying! |

Coming from California, I have to say that Eddie really doesn't talk all -that- fast. But, again, in CA we talk at lightning-speed. When I first moved to GA nobody could understand me at all, since everybody here speaks SO SLOWLY. |

I freakin love Eddie Izzard, absolutely hilarious! My friend who moved to Vegas a year ago went and saw him last night. I'm so jealous, can't wait to hear what he has to say about the show though. |
