Yeah I saw this last night, I'm wondering how it'll adapt to the DS or make use of it's touch features. Will it be a straight port or an updated version ala FF III - IV? I kinda hope for updated but I do love the classic graphics as well. I wonder if they'll have some kind of co-op or online functionality.

LOL, sorry I had to laugh at "that started it all" I think they confused it with FF, as the only thing in Chrono Trigger's wake was a mediocre sequel. So they're adding a duel screen function and Squeenix's standard add-a-dungeon update. Still, looking forward to it.

I can honestly say this is definatly my favorite RPG of all time and Iv'e played it repeatedly on SNES, emulators, and PSX. As happy as I am with my DS - this is like a dream come true.
I dunno why it wouldn't have all that BM - seems like if they put all that work into it they may as well include it in the game - maybe it'll even have the anime cut scenes? /sex |

i still have this for SNES. if i could just use that cart version on the new systems i would be happy forever. in lieu of that, i'll accept this re-release. |

Chrono Trigger returns to the DS. Sounds like I'm going to have to find money that I can spend again... the DS is looking too much like an excellent portable for me to resist getting it any more. |
