Make a short one for short postings like a school based listing service but keep a full one for emailing out to major applications and similar ones.
I have a 3 page one but that is from the sheer amount of related work to my major i have done over my few years in the field like special projects. i can post or send you mine if you really want to see it. Fawkes helped reset my format so i could add to it best. |

I recently took a class on this. Two page resumes are only acceptable if they're worth it. If you're putting your jobs at McDonald's, and the Gap and that's what's pushing it over one page, cut it. I've struggled to keep my artist's resume to one page and before long it'll have to be lengthened or I'll start cutting the older shows.
Al's is probably fine because it's more of a portfolio listing than a resume. If you're going into the corporate world fresh out of college or even still in your twenties, one page is probably plenty.

Actually you are right on mine. I have to put together a portfolio of designs and related work in order to show what all I have been doing. The tool design folder alone is thick and that is just to prove i can plan and build anything i draw-up on Solidworks |
