Haven't seen a topic related to this game, so I thought I would start one. How many of you have it, and for what system? I have it for 360 and it is superb. The online mode really is great with the spectator ability and there are ppl out there that are absolute MONSTERS with their created characters. I am not so great at it, but I plan on getting better. Thoughts? |

I have the PS3 version and we already had a go at it online. The Apprentice is really cheap IMO. |

He's cheap, but not as cheap as Yoda. Yoda cant be thrown at all, not even by characters that can do "low" throws, and he's crazy fast while attacking, although slow while moving (I think slower than any other character) The Apprentice does have some badass combos though, but Siegfried type characters and Sophitia types can absolutely pown him. |

I don't think that the Apprentice is cheap. He's fast and he has some nice combos if you know how to pull them. But since he has the force "unleashed" his force bar runs out really quickly and once he's out of Force he's pretty weak and can't pull off those nice combos.
Shino, I actually played with Goffey and another friend of mine from the GI Forum and we had a blast. It was funny that in the podcast he's always saying how much he likes trash talking, but he didn't at all when we played.
We fought, me as Vader and him as the Apprentice and I pwned him and my 1st comment when we went back to the lobby was, "You are still a padawan learner, my very young apprentice."
Fun though. This game online is cool if you have cool people to play with. Other than that, I don't think I'll play online much.
I would love to have 2 vs 2 (switching fighters) online though. That would be fun. |

I will destroy u all in this game, I'm not online yet but you can go ahead and piss yourself ahead of time
Btw the apprentice is somewhat cheap, mostly for ring outs. If you can get yourself on the edge and get a grab off nothing short of nullify ring out S will save them lol |

I use Darth for that. If they back you to the edge, just grab them and Darth will raise them over his head and turn around. I've gotten perfects doing that.
Cheesy but when the goal is to not get hit...you do what you gotta do. |

I've gotten to play it once when Dloe took me to my first FYRS electronics store last month where they had it for open play. I played a few rounds with some of my familiar characters, did my normal moves that I like best and won...nothing really was different beyond better graphics
Then I picked a new character (not sure who it was, she looked like a typical "magical girl" with a staff)...and totally kicked butt. I finally got Dloe to play me with Darth Vader...and yeah, not so impressive. I whooped Vaders shiny tushie!!!
Dloe still sniffles over that loss
I enjoyed the game, but don't own any systems that would run it...I'm waiting for that perfect Wii Bundle Pack. |
