Hey guys. I am currently at an internet cafe in hungary, after flying out to Austria to see the ladyfriend. Just wanted to give a PO shoutout to everyone whilst Im tinkering with the EU keyboards (Cause they certainly have me perplexed)
I hope everyone is doing great, and all that fun stuff.

I find it funny how Americans seem to talk about Europe as though its one big country!
Glad you're enjoying yourself though Tobs, only been as far as North France myself (Brittany) even though I only leave across the Channel from the rest of Europe, would love to go to Eastern Europe though... |

Austria was beautiful (duh). Never been to Hungary though.
If you have the chance, Innsbruck, Austria is awesome. They have a schnaps store on the main shopping street (just off the flea market) that has free schnaps samples. YUM. The architecture is also beautiful; painted buildings line the streets. And of course there's Salzburg, one of the great cities of the world. I really hope you have a good time, even if you don't travel much.
And RivaOni, I know what you mean. However, I do identify with other Europeans in general when I find them over here. I suppose it's like all of the Americas being considered the same.
BTW, if anyone needs a place to stay in Spain, I have connections around (if you don't mind couches) and an empty house in a pretty little town. :] |

LoL the EU doesn't help with the "Europe as one big country thing" Especially since most of the countries over there use Euros |

you know what the problem is? States. The US has 50 of them, and when we travel, we go someplace else in the states, so we tend to refer to europe as a big Country, like the United States.
